Year 6 made Apple Crumble using our school grown apples!
This week, pupils picked apples from our 7 year old apple tree and we finally had enough to bake with!
Pupils peeled, cored and cut the apples while others mixed the butter, flour and sugar by hand.
They laid the base of apples, sugar and cinnamon in the baking tray, sprinkled their crumble mixture over and baked until golden brown! 
We all enjoyed a bowl of apple crumble with ice cream.
The children realised that effort can result in food that tastes delicious!
